CSU Ranks in Top 5 for Best College Towns to Live in
While CU in Boulder ranked 47th in the Top 50 for best college towns to live in, it was our own CSU that made the Top 5 in this list.

St. Augustine, Florida - Flagler College
St. Augustine is actually the oldest town in Florida with a very rich history and Spanish heritage. The college, which was originally started as a woman's only college, actually houses their dorms in the famous Ponce de Leon Hotel.

Lawrence, Kansas - University of Kansas
Home of the Kansas Jayhawks, the University of Kansas was founded in 1865. According to the New York Times, the town of Lawrence was said to be the “most vital music scene between Chicago and Denver.”

Fort Collins, Colorado - Colorado State University
Many don't know that Fort Collins has history dating back to 1864 as being a big military base. The home of CSU as also ranked as the best place to live in 2006 and in 2008 it came in second place.

Athens, Ohio - University of Ohio
There is no doubt that Athens, Ohio is stunningly beautiful. The University of Ohio is no exception sitting along the banks of the Hocking river. In fact, the city has been nicknamed as Tree City, USA. The university is also the biggest employer in the city which was named after Athens Greece because of its long ancient history of being a "learning center."

Ames, Iowa - Iowa State University
Ames, as one would imagine, is primarily an agricultural community and Iowa State University is one of the top Ag schools in the country. ISU is also famous for inventing the first electronic digital computers. Just like CSU, the school is also well known for agricultural engineering and veterinary medicine.
