If you've been to Denver recently, you may have noticed the abandoned 'e-scooters' people leave around... and Fort Collins may be next.

On my last trip to Denver, I found it a little bizarre that there were just these scooters left out on the sidewalk and in alleys, and I'm not sure I'd want to see that in Fort Collins. But, that's nothing compared to the photo below (not taken in Denver), where you can see one left on a rooftop (?).

According to the Coloradoan, in Reno, NV, some of these scooters have been left in rivers.

5280 reported that when the scooters arrived in Denver over the summer, there were 'a few days of chaos.' Now, there are a couple thousand of them in the city.

You can check out the scooters using your phone, they go 15 m.p.h. and you just ditch them when you're done, and I'm sure you can see the positive and negatives of that.

Good? Bad? You can read more about them from the Coloradoan here.
