What a wild and crazy year it's been.

The 48th annual CMA Awards are quickly approaching, and a few big names have already been announced as performers.

Every month that new country music emerges is a good month, but October 2014 is pretty exceptional, with two highly-anticipated records dropping within one week of one another. Country bad boy Jason Aldean and hit duo Florida Georgia Line are both set to release albums this fall, making October oh-so-awesome due to new music ... and Oktoberfest, of course.

Tinsel town lit up for Oscars 2014: Glitz — Glamor — Surprises; Sure I like to see the fancy and not so fancy and even the what the heck were you thinking gowns, but for me it's the movies and popcorn that get me excited.
