Parents are furious at a Tucson school after they allow Muslim students to pray each day while at school. Is this right or wrong? Take the poll and see what others say.
I wrote a story back in March (Read the story here) about Mississippi allowing public prayer back into their schools. The story did OK as far as the "numbers" go but it went viral this week after a blogger got a hold of it and ripped it to shreds.
In 2009, Herbert and Catherine Schaible lost their 2-year-old son, Kent, to bacterial pneumonia—a condition they refused to let a doctor treat, insisting on using only prayer to heal him. Last week, their second son died. He, too, failed to receive any potentially life-saving medical care.
As a young child I remember very vividly reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and also morning prayer. When you talk about the "good old days" those are visions that come to my mind. Of course those are things that have been taken away but Mississippi has decided otherwise.
