We ended up raising nearly $80,000 with this years 28 Hours of Hope and I can't say thank you enough. What an event it was. I feel this was the best one we have done yet in terms of dollars and awareness raised and the show itself was just an honor to be a part of.  I am so pleased that we get to do this each year and feel what is the heart of northern Colorado. We live in an amazing community of giving people.

I am so proud of all the people who gave, be it $5 or $500 it all helped add up to this amazing total. This money will help so many children get on the path to healing and becoming all they deserve to be. I thank every volunteer who answered phones, to every artist who called in. I have never had a better roster of stars to talk to who all were great interviews, Bill Engvall, Gretchen Wilson, Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Chris Cagle and Justin Moore were a few of my favorites but all of them were great. I thank Todd for the endless hours of work he put into organizing this event. I thank all the workers from the groups we help with this event for all the incredible work they do. I thank my wonderful friends who spend the late night hours keeping us company.  I thank all of you who gave and I thank all the children.

There were so many kids who stopped in for hugs and to drop off money they had raised. We had kids from Wellington, the Greeley West soccer team and so many more young people taking it upon themselves to make a difference. I am so proud that the 28 Hours of Hope gives children an opportunity to know what it feels like to give of themselves and that they can change things. This letter from my little buddy Chance sums it all up and may be the highlight of the 28 hours for me. God bless the child and God bless each and every one of you who are a part of the 28 Hours of Hope. We make a difference.
