The Healing Medicine of Holding a Child [PICTURES]

I have made a vow to start spending more of my time on things that really matter, like love, family and fun. I find that the 3 of those go hand in hand. When you need a hit of happiness and smiles there is nothing seeing your family and holding a little baby to make everything fall into perspective. I got a big dose of that over the weekend.

Kyla and I rolled out to Holyoke on Friday to see my newest little member of the family Nixon. I had not seen my grandson in a couple of months and was dying to hold that little chunk. I was knocked out by how much he has grown already. He is going to be a little football player or just a football.

I love this boy so much. We got to hang out with my granddaughter Kirzi and watch the Rockies game. We had a wonderful heart filling time. The minute you hold a baby the world falls into place. Thank you for taking me to that happy place Nixon. Papa loves you buddy.
