The Windsor Severance Fire Rescue is inviting the Northern Colorado community to stop by during their 16th annual open house, happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 9.

The open house gives people the chance to meet local fire rescue personnel and tour fire station #1, which is located at 100 N. 7th Street in Windsor. There will be live demonstrations, educational opportunities, and car seat checks going on during the afternoon too, as well as a complimentary lunch cooked by the firefighters themselves. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event also gives people the opportunity to learn about, and sign up for, several free and new training classes organized by WSFR, including senior safety, heart safety, home safety and trauma safety.
