No, it's not a Cheeba Hut... and it's not a Taco Bell either.

When it comes to high places, Colorado usually always takes the cake (or the brownie), but I'm actually talking about the other kind of 'high,' as in altitude. The Denver Post's The Know reported that there's a new highest restaurant in the U.S., because Il Rifugio is now open at Arapahoe Basin.

It sounds fancy for a ski area, and that's because it is. Sitting at nearly 12,500 feet, 'Il Rifugio at Snowplume offers a European-style bistro specializing in wine and cheese or charcuterie pairings,' says Arapahoe Basin.

'Guests will also be able to enjoy soup, salad, flatbreads and espresso drinks. This newest restaurant concept was inspired by the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, reminiscent of the Alps.'

You can see the full menu here, and go get high and eat cheese...just be careful how much wine you taste at 12,000 feet.
