$100K Worth of Fossils Stolen From Colorado Parking Lot

A trailer full of fossils, estimating $100,000 in value, was stolen Sunday from a parking lot at the the Crowne Plaza Convention Center and Hotel lot in Aurora, KCNC-TV reports.

Officials say the trailer contained 13 fossils. One fossil estimated to be worth $50,000 and 92 million years old.

The fossils belonged to fossil and mineral supply company GeoDecor Inc.

Details about the stolen fossils were given to fossil dealers, so if someone does decide to sell them they could be returned.
