Brian’s Bedroom Wall

On this date in 1961 every kids room started getting cooler, the very first black light was sold on this date 50 years ago. Every kid I hung out with growing up had a black light. Remember how cool it was if you wore a white shirt and would glow when you turned off the light, or how you teeth lit up or pet stains showing up in the carpet and bed (trust me it was the pet)?

My first black light poster was a huge Tasmanian devil looking guy hovering over a GTO with the caption “Born To Drag”. I think I had a unicorn too. It got me thinking about all the cool posters I had on my wall when I was a kid. I had the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, Farrah in the red swimsuit, Linda Carter as Wonder Woman, Linda Ronstadt and KISS on my wall. What poster did you have as a kid?
