Fort Collins Police are reporting that a 19-year-old woman has died as a result of her injuries in a crash that closed parts of Timberline Road and Drake Road on Thursday (August 22).

Police said the woman was the passenger in a GMC SUV that turned left from Timberline to Drake against a red turn signal. A 68-year-old man from Loveland was traveling south on Timberline road and hit the passenger side of the GMC SUV.

The driver of the SUV, Ashley Anderson, 18 was treated the scene and released. Her passenger, Payton Spahn, 19, had series injuries and had to be extricated and immediately transported to Medical Center of the Rockies. The driver of the Ford F-150, Harley Freeman, suffered moderate injuries.

Police do not believe alcohol, drugs, or speed contributed to the collision.
