It's the most wonderful time of the year...the time where we're celebrating one Fort Collins brewery every day in December! Welcome to the 25 Beers of Christmas.

On the third day of Beer-mas, Fort Collins gave to me...Black Bottle Brewery's Angry Elf, an American Strong Ale brewed to celebrate Black Bottle's anniversary. I'll cheers to that!

According to Black Bottle, the beer has been aged for 6 months in Hale & Bradford Bourbon Barrels, then conditioned on raspberries to bring out those tart, fruity flavors. The result is a malty beer featuring notes of vanilla, cinnamon, raspberry, bourbon, and more. It's 10.4% ABV and you can grab it in 22 ounce bomber bottles in the brewery right now.

Black Bottle has been around for seven years and has become a fast favorite for any Fort Collins beer geek. Come celebrate the holidays and a great brewery's anniversary with Angry Elf among a smattering of taxidermied squirrels...

...for more on those, we'll let the brewers tell you the story themselves.
