Seven Peaks Festival invaded Buena Vista, Colorado this weekend with some of the biggest acts in country music.

In this line of work I am lucky to get to see a lot of concerts. It's rare that I am blown away like I was for Seven Peaks Festival.

I came up with my 5 reasons Seven Peaks Festival is a must go.

1. The Music

Dierks Bentley pulls no punches when acquiring a superstar lineup. Maren Morris and Luke Bryan brought down the house (with a little help from Dierks) on Saturday night. Then, Sunday John Pardi and Dierks Bentley closed the show with a bang. Cool thing about Seven Peaks Festival is you feel like you're "hanging" with the artists. They're walking around the campgrounds, they're getting tickets for not having fishing licenses, they're joining each other on stage. It's a great opportunity to rub shoulders with the biggest names in country music.

2. The Scenery

There's something very special about watching your favorite artist play your favorite song in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. The contrast of the pink-sky sunset, with the giant mountains behind the stage Saturday night was mind blowing. Not only that, but we saw a ton of wildlife around the festival grounds.

3. Food and Drinks

It appears Dierks Bentley is a fan of great food and good beer. Huge shout out to Left Hand Brewing out of Longmont for some of the best craft beer I've ever had. Don't spend all your money on beer because there's also great food available from local vendors.

4. Photo Opportunities

Keep the memories with you forever with many photo opportunities set up throughout the festival. Everything from giant postcards, upside down camp spaces and even Dierks "Drunk on a Plane" cockpit.

5. The People

It didn't matter if they traveled from somewhere else, or they're native to Colorado, the people at Seven Peaks Festival were the nicest, and most fun I've ever been around. They were friendly, curious, and would gladly jump in and take a photo for your if you needed them to. Everyone had one goal from the artists to the attendees. Have fun.
