For 15 cents, I think I'll stay in that theater all day long!

It's been a long time since we've been able to enjoy a movie on the big screen. Well, if you have a projector set up in your fancy media room, then life has been normal for you. For the rest of us, date night at the movies is about to be a thing again. I can already taste that buttery popcorn.

AMC Theaters just announced that they will be reopening theaters across the country beginning August 20.

They are not the first theaters to reopen in 2020. There have been other chains that have opened their doors with reduced capacity and strict cleaning schedules. AMC will be doing the same... with flare.

The theater chain also announced they would be paying homage to the 1920s with identical pricing. That means you will be able to see a movie for just 15 cents. What?! It's only on August 20, but I'm sure it will be a hit. I want to go, just so I can slap a quarter on the counter and ask for my change.

If you're looking forward to getting your cinema on again, you can find more details on their website. They have really covered all of their bases with any questions you may have on what to expect. There's also some new information you may not think about, like payment options. AMC is asking that you pay with something other than cash. Cash is, after all, very germ-y. Yes, that means you will have to charge 15 cents to your card on August 20, but this is about keeping people safe.

Will you be going to the movies any time soon?
