Another meteor shower will be happening this week.

The peak time to see the Eta Aquarids meteor shower will be start Monday night around midnight into early morning into Tuesday morning.

According to Accuweather, the meteor shower will display up to 40 meteors per hour in the southern hemisphere. Here in the northern hemisphere, this shower is expected to be a "moderate" event, but Colorado should still have great viewing opportunities with clear skies that evening.

The Eta Aquarids meteor shower is comprised of debris from Halley's comet and happens every May when the Earth's orbit enters the debris trail. The shooting stars you'll witness result from debris that usually ranges in size from a small pebble to a grain of sand.
