A classic video game developer, Atari, has plans to build a video game-themed hotel in Denver.

Atari has licensed its name to a real estate developer who is planning to bring state-of-the-art hotels to 8 U.S. cities, including Denver. The first hotel will break ground this year in Phoenix.

The main draw of the hotel will be its esports studios, public gaming playgrounds, virtual reality, augmented reality, and complimentary breakfasts. They also plan to have a pool, gym, restaurants, bars, bakeries and movie theaters in each hotel. The new concept will provide gamers with a unique experience and fully immersive entertainment options.

Atari has received an advance of $600,000 for the naming rights and will receive five percent of the hotels' revenue.
