The Northern Colorado Drug Task Force announced it seized 10 pounds of methamphetamines and five handguns last month from a Loveland home in a Friday press release.

Investigators estimated the meth was worth about $60,000 on the street.

Richard Todd Henson, 56 of Loveland, was arrested on Thursday in connection with the crime. He was released four hours later after posting $10,000 bond. Henson had been previously arrested in January when caught selling illegal drugs to undercover agents.

Two others allegedly involved in the narcotics ring — 31-year-old Edgar Josue Gonzalez-Macias and 35-year-old Jose Reynaldo Gonzalez-Macias, both of Fort Collins — were arrested in February in connection with the case. Both posted bond and failed to appear in court. Investigators have information indicating they fled to Mexico.

The investigation into the narcotics ring began more than a year ago when the Northern Colorado Drug Task Force received a tip. Investigators followed up on the tip and launched an investigation reaching as far as Mexico and California. The three men then were later caught selling to undercover agents.

All three individuals face multiple felony charges.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jose and/or Edgar Gonzalez-Macias is asked to call the Tip Line at 970-416-2560 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868 where you will remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty. An arrest is merely an accusation by law enforcement.
