The NightLights Tree is officially lighting up Fort Collins.

Each time you drive past College Ave. and Mulberry St., you can't miss the beautiful blue glow of the 50-foot tree.

The tree is a reminder of more than just holiday cheer. Each light on the tree represents one of the almost 7,000 abused, neglected, or at-risk children in Larimer County.

Thankfully, these children are not alone. They are receiving help from Realities For Children, a non-profit that provides for the unmet and ongoing support needs of these children.

Every light on the tree representing a child is thanks to a sponsor, who generously donated $100 to help care for a child in need.

However, the impact these donations make goes far beyond just a light on the tree.

In fact, the NightLights fundraiser goes until December 31, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the needs of our local at-risk children.

This is why we have partnered with Realities for Children for Townsquare Cares: Blue Christmas, our campaign to make sure that every child receives a sponsor this holiday season.

Click here to sponsor a child (or donate whatever you can) and help bring these children out of the darkness of child abuse.

Together, we can light up more than just College and Mulberry...we can light up the night.
