Brantley Gilbert is teaming up with NASCAR to release his newest song, "Not Like Us." The blazing new track will be featured in a new marketing campaign that spotlights the racing league's drivers, but Gilbert surprised his fans with the the song on Friday (April 12).

"We wrote this out on the road, and it's got that feel," Gilbert says of the hard-driving energy and rock edge of "Not Like Us." "It's funny how everybody wants to be -- like the first verse says -- a big dog, but when you get right down to it, wanting and being are two different things. When you look at NASCAR, what those drivers do, there isn't anybody in the world like 'em."

This NASCAR partnership will pair Gilbert's new release with the story of 23-year-old NASCAR driver Chase Elliott. Philip Metz, managing director of entertainment marketing and music for NASCAR, explains that the piece is part of a year-long campaign that "tells the story of the NASCAR season through the lens of the drivers."

The first promotional clip featuring Gilbert's new song will run on Saturday (April 13) as a part of the Monster Energy Cup Series Toyota Owners 400, which will be broadcast at 7:30PM ET. The song will continue to be featured through Elliott's big race at Talladega, which will air on April 28 at 2PM ET on Fox, as well as across all NASCAR digital streaming platforms.

"Not Like Us" is the second song that fans are getting to hear from Gilbert's next album. The project's first single, "What Happens in a Small Town," is a duet with Lindsay Ell.
