Everyone hates waiting in line at the DMV. Now, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Colorado, we aren't able to go in and take care of our registration renewals or schedule appointments. That doesn't mean we're done waiting, though.

According to a press release, the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles is experiencing significant call wait times and "difficulty connecting to the phone queue."

While the DMV has expanded their hours to accommodate the large volume of callers, they also urge Coloradans to use their online services before making an appointment. Sometimes, you're able to take care of everything you need via their online portal rather than joining the phone queue.

Looks like the stereotype rings true, though, even during a pandemic: You'll always be waiting in line at the DMV.
