The measure goes into effect on Saturday at 12:01 a.m. and only pertains to county roads. U.S. Highway 6, Interstate 25, and city streets will not fall into the closure category. The closure of the roads is in precaution to the COVID-19 pandemic. Deputies would be giving warnings the first week and after, possibly escalating to enforcement if deemed necessary.
