Clothing to Blame for USA’s Epic Failure in Ryder Cup Golf – Brian’s Blog

I always look forward to the Ryder Cup in golf. It is like the Olympics of golf. The USA against the Europeans in head to head competition is quite exciting...usually. This year is wasn't even close. We got royally spanked 16 1/2 to 11 1/2. You may think it was because the European team has much better golfers. That may have had something to do with it but I think the main reason we lost was the hideous outfits the USA team had to wear.

There was one sweatshirt that had a big American flag on it. It looked like something your gramma would have gotten you for Christmas and you had to wear it when she would show up to visit. We looked like a bunch of bad outdated JC Penney catalog models. How could you possibly play good when you looked that bad? While poor play may have had something to do with it, I blame fashion.
