As many across the country think about big game hunting many think Colorado is off the books due to our new gun laws. That is simply not the case.

I recently spoke with Jim Rodriguez who represents Colorado Parks and Wildlife on behalf of the Colorado Big Game Application deadline campaign. As I mentioned earlier, our state has a sort of black eye when it comes to guns and the 2nd Amendment so most assume a lot, if not all, big game hunting has been done away with.

Nothing could be further from the truth and if you are a big game hunter, Colorado is still one of the best states for big game hunting, if not the best!

Hunting lives and is strong in our state and if you are thinking of doing some hunting in the near future, then you need to get on the ball and get your applications in as the deadline is April 1, no fooling. Click on the video below provided by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and then follow the links to get your application process started.

If you have any questions or want to get your application process started please contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife via the big red link directly below and happy hunting Colorado.
