This guy is currently breaking hearts across Colorado and the nation, because it just seems crazy that he hasn't found his 'fur-ever home' yet.

KRDO News in Colorado Springs featured a story on October 26, 2020, that got picked up by People magazine about a pooch that has gone 720 days at a shelter in Monte Vista — so now, the whole country is aware of his predicament.

Drools is 4-years-old, meaning his been at Counour Animal Shelter since he was just a 2-year-old pup. Awwww... He's a neutered pitbull/boxer mix, who they say is cautious at first, but loves to cuddle, and is caught up on his vaccinations.

A couple of things are stacked against Drools. One, he needs to go a home where he'll be the only pet. No other dogs, no cats. Second, the shelter is fairly remote, so it doesn't get a lot of people coming through looking to adopt animals.

With Drools' story spreading across Colorado and the nation, Drools is certainly bound to be adopted very soon — so he probably won't be celebrating a third year at the shelter.
