The Colorado Eagles dropped 2 out of their final 3 games of the season and have gone 3-6-1 over their last 10 games but have still managed to make the postseason. It's been a crazy past month or so with so many key players getting called up to help the Avalanche in their own playoff push while claiming the President's Cup for best record in the NHL.

It can be tough as a minor league team to maintain consistency when players are coming and going all the time but the Eagles have hung tough, played hard and now have a chance to extend their season on Tuesday night down in Ontario, California as they take on the Reign in a playoff tournament.

The Eagles played less games than any other team in the Pacific division and have managed to work to 36 points over the season, only 4 less than their opponent (Ontario Reign) who played 6 more games.
