Winter can be bipolar in the state of Colorado. Mainly on the Front Range... One day it will be 60 degrees, the next we could have a blizzard happening. Sometimes people will think that the roads are not that bad, when in reality, they can be very dangerous.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Colorado is fifth in the nation as the most dangerous state for winter driving. Other states that have worse conditions are Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. Finally, taking the number one spot is Michigan.
