Giddyup ya'll! The historic National Western Stock Show will return next year. After a hiatus in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Western Stock Show is set to begin on January 8, 2022.

The event will run for a total of two weeks at the National Western Complex in Denver. Dozens of events will take place every day from January 8 to 23.

According to the Denver Channel, more than 700,000 people are expected at the National Western Stock Show from more than 40 states. A total of 30 countries will be represented during the event in 2022.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, sixty percent of the staff at the National Western Complex was laid off. Now that events are back in full swing, most of the employees have been re-hired.  A total of 800 volunteers will help keep events going during the National Western Stock Show in 2022.

One of the key highlights for the National Western Stock Show in 2022 is the grand opening of the Historic Stockyards. Rodeos, mutton busting, horse shows, shopping, livestock shows, shopping, and more will all be a part of the 2022 National Western Stock Show.
