You can get your hands on a pumpkin spice latte this week because... well, 2020.

It's the season that seems to arrive earlier and earlier every single year. Many may roll their eyes, but many also begin to salivate as the words "pumpkin spice." Yep, it's pumpkin spice everything season and I don't think anyone should complain about it after the year we've had. We all need something to look forward to and, quite frankly, something to signal the beginning of the end of the year.

Hallelujah.

This year, Dunkin' drew first pumpkin blood seed by announcing the launch of their pumpkin spice latte offering on Wednesday, August 19. Yes, that is this week. They are also launching their fall menu items and their Post Dunkin' seasonal flavored cereal.

You can enjoy Dunkin' at 2801 S College Ave. in Fort Collins and 102 E. 29th St. in Loveland.

In case you're wondering, Starbucks won't be launching their PSL until Tuesday, August 25. While this is later than their competition, it is earlier than they have done so in the past. I believe it was 2014 when they dropped that pumpkin goodness on, what was their earliest release date? August 26.

Why the rush?

Um, it's 2020. Even though it's not ideal to sweat it out in the summer while enjoying a hot pumpkin spice latte, it's better than sweating it out without one. It's not the only fall item to be arriving in August, too. I saw some Oktoberfest beer offerings at the store recently and the Halloween candy aisle and costume stores are starting to pop up. You can't stop fall, baby!

And since this year hasn't been ideal, I say give the people what they want!
