Today is Corn on the Cob Day. I have a love hate relationship with corn on the cob. I feel it is the best tasting corn by far but it is a pain in the butt to eat. I feel the same way about crab legs. I would like to pay someone to break the legs and get me the meat. I would pay the same person to help me pick my teeth clean after cobbing on some corn.

There are many methods to eat this tasty treat. There are many toppings and seasonings that people will dress it up with. I am a butter and salt only kind of guy and I like to slather it in both. I must admit that when it comes to eating a cob of corn I am an old fashioned typewriter kind of eater. I tend to butter it up and go in a row from end to end and then turn and repeat. I know some will go the immediate rotisserie spin method and other just hunt and peck away all willy nilly. How about you? How do you eat your corn on the cob or do you not touch it at all.
