Football fans are blessed to have two college football teams in our neck of the woods here in Northern Colorado. 2013 was a tale of two very different seasons for Northern Colorado (UNC) in Greeley and Colorado State (CSU) in Fort Collins. Still though, both teams have some players who may have their names called at the 2014 NFL Draft.

UNC only won one game last year, and finished last in the Big Sky Conference, but still NFL scouts are attracted to three of the Bears players. Linebacker Chance Bumpas, wide reciever Jace Davis, and quarterback Seth Lobato all have the chance of having their names called at the draft according to experts.

As for CSU, they went 8-6 last season and had one of the most thrilling bowl game victories in school history. NFL scouts have their eyes on 8 Rams players... Linebacker Shaquil Barrett, corner back Shaq Bell, offensive tackle Jared Biard, running back Kapri Bibbs, tight end Crockett Gillmore, offensive guard Brandon Haynes, running back Chris Nwoke, and center Weston Richburg.

The NFL Draft takes place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City from May 8th through the 10th. The TV schedule can be seen here.
