Times they are a changin' and so is the landscape at Colorado State University. The greenhouses at the W.D. Holley Plant Environmental Research Center on the CSU campus in Fort Collins will be moved this summer to make room for the new on-campus stadium.

According to Colorado State, they will construct a state-of-the-art center for horticulture education and research directly south of the Aggie Village Apartments and near the Gardens on Spring Creek. The $7.5 million horticulture center and greenhouses will be built at the corner of Bay Drive and Centre Avenue.  The current facility along Lake Street was built in 1949.

Right now there is no set date when construction will begin on the stadium. CSU hopes it will be open in time for the 2017 football and soccer seasons. Personally, I embrace the changes coming to my Alma Mater, but I certainly understand those who don't embrace change.  What do you think?
