Colorado State University has sent out a warning to students and staff before Donald Trump Jr. speaks tonight at the college.

The event, which is presented by the CSU chapter of Turning Point USA, is expected to bring extra traffic and safety concerns to the east side of campus. There will be law enforcement officers in the area from CSUPD, the Fort Collins Police, and the Larimer County Sheriff's Office to handle any situations that arise.

The public safety team at CSU says that if you're attending the event by car, foot, or bike to allow for extra time to find parking or seating. If you're NOT attending the event, CSU asks that you use a different route to travel around campus.

The main areas affected by the extra security and traffic are Prospect Road to Laurel Street to the north and south, and east of College to the Remington Street area.
