Denver International Airport TSA Employee Brought Loaded Gun to Work
A TSA employee at Denver International Airport brought a loaded handgun to work Tuesday morning.
According to Denver7, police responded to question the agent at approximately 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.
So far the employee, who was hired in 2002, has not been charged, but is being suspended until further notice. A decision on this employee's future with TSA could come later this week.
A TSA spokesperson told Denver7 there is "no reasonable cause" to believe the male employee, whose gun was found in his backpack prior to his shift, had "any ill intentions."
The investigation is being handled by local law enforcement.
