Uber is a pretty easy and convenient way to get around where you don't have to worry about driving, and it's nice because they can pick you up right where you are and drop you off exactly where you need to go. While it's nice to have a driver who is efficient and wants to get you to your destination in a timely manner, this is a bit much.

According to KDVR Fox 31, an Uber driver was busted for going 102 MPH in a 65 MPH zone with a passenger in the car. Now that's what I call a thrill ride.

The Uber driver was cited for going 37 mph over the speed limit, which is a six-point offense (OUCH). Sylla was also cited for no proof of insurance, a four-point violation (DOUBLE OUCH).

An Uber spokesperson said the company was aware of the incident and have launched their own investigation and will take appropriate action.

When you sign up to drive for Uber, you agree to drive safely and abide by community guidelines, which requires you to follow all local and state traffic rules. This particular driver obviously did not do that.

Over 200 people have died in Colorado this year due to car accidents and this is something that could've ended badly, but thankfully did not.

The Uber driver is due in court next month.
