Does Donald Trump Actually Have a Chance at the Oval Office? [POLL]

I try to shy away from politics as much as possible, but this whole Donald Trump thing has me fascinated. Is he another Ross Perot or does he actually have a chance?

I have said for years, the last thing this country needs is another career politician in the oval office. Most of us can probably agree that "our" best interest is not really on their agenda. Most recent presidents, I believe, are in it for themselves and all the perks versus actually caring about the common person and their lives. Most of these career politicians wouldn't have a clue how to live like you and I.

When this country was founded, our first leaders were men of business and once they were done being president, went back to what they did before politics. Sure, there are honest politicians, but they are few and far between and the ones who actually do care about trying to make a difference will never be nominated, let alone win.

Is this where Donald Trump stands?

When I first heard he was going to run for President, like many, thought it was more of a joke than anything else. People aren't laughing anymore as he is right on the heels of Jeb Bush running #2 in the polls for republicans with Hillary Clinton still garnering the best percentage of all candidates.

Maybe Trump is exactly what this country needs!

I remember my Dad always talking about how our country is "Big Business" and to run it correctly, it takes a businessman. My Dad was all about politics and he truly believed that running the United States of America was no different than running any Fortune 500 company.

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump didn't get to where he is by luck. Did he squash a few people along the way? I'm sure he did...he's a ruthless individual and perhaps that attitude is what this country needs. I am willing to bet that everything he says he's going to do, he will.
