We all hate to move.  Even movers hate to move.  How would you like to move an amusement and water park?

It happened once with Denver's Elitch Gardens.  Since 1890, it had been at 38th Avenue and Tennyson Street.  In 1995, for about $90 million, the park rebuilt at its current downtown area between Auroria Parkway, Speer Boulevard, and I-25.

Since mass transit has evolved, and hundreds upon hundreds of new homes rise up around the area, developers can't ignore the fact that the 68 acres housing Elitch Gardens could be used more wisely, or in ways that benefit everyone moreso than it does now.  And this isn't a new discussion.  These talks started in 2007.

I wonder if Elitch's would be welcome in Lakeside!
