National Night Out

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office Crime Prevention Unit is looking for participants for this year's National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th.

This unique crime/drug prevention event is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

Each year's National Night Out campaign involves citizens, law enforcement agencies,  and local officials from over 15,000 communities from all 50 states in addition to U.S. territories. It is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for anti-crime programs, along with many more.

Neighborhoods can celebrate with block parties, cookouts, and visits from the sheriff's office . These events have proven to be effective and promote neighborhood spirit .
