Favorite Pictures From a Weekend at TOFC and With My Grandkids [PICTURES]

What another incredible weekend it was to live in this amazing place we call home. I love Northern Colorado and this weekend was full of Colorado fun. Things were kicked off beautifully with the Taste of Fort Collins. This event was so much fun this year. Friday night we finally had country music represented as Mitchell Tenpenny and William Michael Morgan tore up the stage in Washington Park. William is a very close friend of mine and it was such a treat to see him again and watch his killer show. We even shared a laugh as we did our Elvis impressions as he waited to climb on stage.

Saturday took my family out to eastern Colorado to visit my new grandson Nixon and the rest of his family in Holyoke. It is always so good to see my son and his bride and have all the grandkids play together.

They got to go to the golf course and play a hole and ride in the carts. They were in heaven and even had time to cool off in the water spigot.

Sunday saw my wife and her best friend Fay hit the road and head for their camping adventure in Yellowstone for the next couple of weeks.

I am happy for her to go have a blast but will miss her terribly. I am not real good at being alone. I hope the bison and wolves leave her alone but that they have a trip full of memories. Just another great weekend in the greatest place on earth. I love my Colorado.
