Fewer Flights Through Denver International Airport for the Holidays
If your plans for the holidays include flying home, you might want to book your trip sooner rather than later. According to KDVR, airlines will be offering fewer flights this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Southwest Airlines states that there will be approximately 90,000 fewer flights and American Airlines will have around 86,000 fewer flights in November and December.
Travelers that plan on flying for Thanksgiving and Christmas should arrive at Denver International Airport earlier than they normally would due to possible backups at screening lines.
