There was a fight during the Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders rally at the Colorado Convention Center Sunday.

A CBS4 news camera captured the incident. The fight escalated through the media barriers and partially under the stage in the middle of Sanders' speech.

It wasn’t immediately clear to CBS4 was contacted by the two men, one named Tyler and the other remained anonymous but told CBS4 that he is African American and was wearing a “Black Guns Matter” t-shirt at the rally.

“He had a problem with the shirt I was wearing,” the man told CBS4. “I was recording the event, he walks up and calls me a racist. But I thought, ‘What’s he know about black lives, about discrimination, or, for that matter, the representation of the shirt.'”

After the brawl neither men were escorted out, but rather were told to separate from each other by security. Sanders continued his speech as if nothing was happening underneath him.
