We may be still enjoying summer throughout the state of Colorado. But the snow will be flying before we know it, which means ski season will be here.

One of the best things about skiing in the state of Colorado is how much they wrap it around families throughout the region, to make it an enjoyable and cost effective weekend whenever you hit the slopes.

But did you know that if you have children that attend school between kindergarten and fifth grade, they have the ability to ski for free?

The Epic Schoolkids Colorado Pack has actually already started signing up kids for the 2017/2018 ski season, and allows kids in that age group to ski for free at Vail, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, and Keystone. What's it entail? Here are some of the details:

  • The program offers kids one free first timer ski or snowboard lesson, and that includes your equipment rental.
  • You must register your child by visiting a Colorado Ski and Golf or the Boulder Ski Deals Store before October 8th. Once October 8th passes, so does your chance of getting the free ski pass.
  • To sign up your child, make sure you have a copy of their report card, student ID, birth certificate, or passport.
  • The pass will give your children four days of skiing or snowboarding at EACH of the resorts listed above! (There are holiday restrictions)

I have done this with my kids the past two winters, and it came in very handy for our family vacations! So I highly recommend you taking advantage of this if you have kids!
