Fire Breaks Out At Loveland 7-Eleven
A fire broke out late Monday night (July 5) outside of a 7-Eleven in Loveland, which eventually spread onto the building itself, according to Loveland Fire Rescue Authority.
As per a post via the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority's (LFRA) official Facebook page, LFRA crew members responded to a commercial building fire in the 4200 block of North Taft Avenue in Loveland; fire damage was limited to the exterior of the building, while the establishment's interior had sustained light to moderate smoke damage.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the Monday night fire.
As of Monday night (July 5), the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
Division Chief Greg Ward said that crews worked to control the fire by opening up parts of the structure to expose hot spots in the walls, soffit and attic space.
Three fire engines accompanied by heavy rescue, tower and command officers reportedly responded to the scene, along with members of the Loveland Police Department, Thompson Valley EMS and other first responders.
As of Tuesday morning (July 6), no further updates regarding the Monday night fire or the investigation around the fire were available to the public.
