If there IS a bright side, it's that things could have been much worse for the restaurant that's been in operation since 2012.

There aren't that many Italian restaurants in Greeley, and now the city will be without one of them, for a while.

The Greeley Tribune has the story on how 30 firefighters showed up at Pelligrini Ristorante Italiano Bar, off of 23rd Avenue and 17th Street, at about 5 a.m. on Saturday (March 30, 2019) to respond to a fire.

After what was deemed an accidental electrical fire was put out, the owners assessed the damage. Though the kitchen, bar and dining area weren't really damaged, the roof and attic area appear to need serious work, as the estimated costs of repairs are $400,000.
