The Foothills Mall received a foreclosure notice after missing a scheduled debt payment in October.

The Fort Collins shopping center that opened in 2015 at the sight of the old Foothills Fashion Mall still owes $46.59 million on its original loan.

The Foothills Mall now has an April 6 deadline to receive the final amount of its $145 million loan, according to a Loveland Reporter-Herald report.

If lender lender MUFG Union Bank N.A. doesn't receive the rest of its payment, the Foothills Mall would go to a foreclosure auction in April 21.

The Foothills Mall currently houses more than 50 retail and restaurants businesses.
