Fort Collins Company Purchases Hotel in Durango for $8.2 Million

A Fort Collins company, Prime Hospitality, purchased the Residence Inn by Marriott in Durango for $8.2 million on February 13.

According to the Journal, Prime Hospitality owns the neighboring property as well, The Fairfield Inn & Suites located at 21719 U.S. Highway 160, so the purchase was a logical addition for a company that is already familiar with the local market.

Kalpesh Patel, the registered agent with Prime Hospitality, also told the Journal that there were no plans to make any major changes to the hotel, as the name will remain the same.
