We're not out of the woods when it comes to snow in the forecast (it can do that until like, June), but it looks like we'll get a break from spring snow next week... At least, for now.

According to the National Weather Service, following a mild, sunny and warm weekend in Northern Colorado, Monday will also be sunny with a high in the low 70s. Monday night, however, the rain moves in.

The National Weather Service says to expect showers all day on Tuesday with a chance of thunderstorms developing, and they may stick around through Wednesday. On Thursday, the sun returns with highs in the 60s. You can see the full forecast for next week here.

This week, the Fort Collins area got four inches of snow, while Horsetooth saw six inches, and Greeley got just over an inch of snow.

While it wasn't a huge winter storm, the moisture helped. The National Weather Service reported that part of the Northern Front Range of Colorado is 'clear' on the U.S. Drought Monitor.

'It's great to see an area that has no drought conditions for the first time since the major fires last year,' the National Weather Service said in a tweet.
