Fort Collins Police Investigate Suspicious Death

Fort Collins Police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred downtown over the weekend.

At approximately 10:38 a.m. on Saturday (November 21) police responded to a report of a deceased person,  who was found laying outside, in the 800 block of North College Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered an obviously deceased adult male. Based on evidence found nearby, detectives are treating this case as a suspicious death and are continuing to investigate the circumstances around it.

The Larimer County Coroner will release the cause and manner of death at a later time.
