Fort Collins’ Tuesday Nights Just Got Funnier

The Boot Comedy Club in Fort Collins last night was filled with HUGE laughs with some local comedians.

Before last night, I wasn't too familiar with the comedy scene in Northern Colorado or what the Bud Light Big Break was but after last night, I have a pretty good idea of the amount of talent in Northern Colorado.

Every Tuesday in March, local comedians are competing for their big break with the winner crowned in April. Bring your friends, I would leave the kids at home for this one, and get ready to laugh, drink some great beer, and if you're lucky you will get handpicked to be one of the judges.

Each contestant is judged on originality, stage presence, audience reaction, and overall funny. Judging was a lot harder than I expected it to be.  Between a guy with an Austrailian accent to another talking about the cheese "tweezers" at Qdoba, there were a lot of great ones to choose as the winner of the night. Anthony Crawford ended up taking home the prize last night and will be returning for the finals.
