Girl Scouts Of Colorado Are Introducing New Cookie: Adventurefuls

It's almost the best time of year...and no, I'm not talking about Christmas. I'm talking about Girl Scout season, when our favorite sweets hit tables outside of grocery stores and we have the chance to enjoy Do-Si-Dos, Peanut Butter Patties, Thin Mints, and more. OK, OK, so cookie season doesn't officially kick off until January 7, 2022, but we have plenty of time to prepare our taste buds.

According to a recent press release, the Girl Scouts of Colorado are joining the organization in welcoming a brand-new cookie into the mix: Adventurefuls. 

From first impressions only, Adventurefuls definitely seem like they'll fit right into our Colorado culture. Not only do they sound amazing, but the whole backstory of the new cookie is about celebrating the adventures in a young girl's life. The press release noted:

Every purchase of Adventurefuls, and the whole portfolio of iconic cookies, during cookie season fuels local Girl Scouts’ adventures throughout the year: exploring what interests them, discovering their passions, and taking action on issues they care about.

The question of the hour, though: how does it taste? Adventurefuls are an "indulgent brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored creme and a hint of sea salt", and looking at the photos on the Girl Scout website alone: these look decadent.

The countdown on the website says we still have 146 days until the release of Adventurefuls, so in the meantime, start planning what else you'll add to your order from the Girl Scouts of America.
