Wolf peeks through fence at WOLF Sanctuary

Brian, Susan and I have the opportunity to host the 10th Annual Waltz For the Wolves on Saturday, June 14th at the Ranch in Loveland. (You could even bid on a George Strait autographed guitar there.) So, yesterday we journeyed up to the W.O.L.F. Sanctuary in the Rist Canyon to meet the wolves.

The wolves are amazing creatures. Visiting them was honestly almost a magical experience. The property they live on practically allows them to live in their natural habitat, although we didn't know if we would survive the treacherous road to get there.

The W.O.L.F. Sanctuary has suffered through some trials and tribulations over the past few years. They lost a number of buildings in the High Park Fire and have been flooded over and over and over the past few years.  Then there is the problem of having to drive over private land to get to their property. Bottom line is: They need a new facility.  Waltz For The Wolves will help pay for that. Currently an on-line auction is underway to get things kicked off.
